Mason had turned 4 years old just a couple of weeks ago. From what I've seen he gets smarter and smarter each and every day. Mason is a very smart but also shy boy, although it might take him a bit of time to adapt to an area. For example, Mason's birthday party was located at the Coconut Bowl where he had a tremendous amount of fun but like I said it took him a minuet or two to adapt to a whole new environment in which he had never been before. There were kids screaming and even crying, to Mason this is very odd and strange because he had never been around this many kids before. The ball pit was full of kids so I had to escort him around until he finally felt comfortable but Mason eventually came around and had a lot of fun in the ball pit and with all the new friends that he made.

Another example where it took Mason a bit to become comfortable was when he and family went over to one of his father's friends house. His father's friend had a pet dog named "Mojo". Before Mason met Mojo he didn't have much experience being around pets of dogs in general. At first when Mason saw Mojo he was surprised and got scared very quickly. Mojo barked a couple of times which made the situation escalate quickly.Lucky Mojo was a very calm and loving pet. Mason's fear had gotten the best of him then he soon realized that Mojo wasn't going to devour him. Once Mason started getting more comfortable around mojo he is now more willing and hopes to have a dog of his own soon.

Friday/Saturday 26-27 September


On this day I spent the night at Masons mothers house (My Sister). This was a very good way for me to spend some time with mason and observe him more. At about 9 pm he was sent to sleep. Later I found out that he unwillingly moves a lot in his sleep. His spider man bed comforter was all over the place and from this I observed that he isn't aware that moves a lot in his sleep. Later that night I saw half his body almost off of his little bed because of this.

In the morning, he woke up cranky because of his little sister. She is very loud when it comes to watching her favorite cartoon channel, Nickelodeon. Unfortunately mason woke up to her loud laughs and her loud voice. From this, mason woke up very cranky, I have observed that mason has a very different personality when he is wide awake and conscious as to when he is barely awake and very tired. When he woke up he was silent as could, he didn't even talk or even try to attempt to interact with anyone. This happens every so often when he wakes up. I'm sure this happens to all of us as well from time to time. All in all, I have observed some of his sleeping habits. And more will be soon to come.

Mason is a little 3 year old child who is composed of many different and diverse races. To begin with he is White, Mexican, African American, and even French. I plan on observing my little nephew Mason because he is currently in his development stage. When I say this, I mean he is in his little influential stage where he is learning all kinds of things that will influence the rest of his life. From this observation, I plan on observing his growth, his intelligence and his daily patterns. One other reason that I choose Mason, is because he is one of my most favorite people in the whole wide world!
